Personal Care Services
One of our most popular services is Personal Care, which is most beneficial for elders with diagnoses like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, heart disease, cancer, or other severe conditions that affect all aspects of life. Personal Care Services from our team include help with medication schedules, light housekeeping, bathing, and other day-to-day tasks that are more difficult as you age.
Veteran Care
Serving Veterans is deeply important to us at Comfort Home Care. The men and women who have served our country deserve dependable, dignified support and we are honored to provide it. Our caregivers assist Veterans with daily needs such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility support, and companionship. Every care plan is personalized, whether that means a few hours each week or more consistent care. Veterans have given so much and providing thoughtful, reliable care is one way we can give back.
Respite Care
Many adult children or grandchildren take on the task of caring for a loved one in their old age, which can be emotionally and physically taxing. Without proper training, taking care of a sick elder or one with limited mobility can be a struggle. Comfort Home Care can come in when needed to provide you with a much-needed break. Seeing someone you love deteriorate can be heavy, so by hiring a respite care worker, you can have peace of mind about the safety of your loved one, while also getting a much-needed break.

WHY CHOOSE US
Locally Owned & Operated
Many members of our team are local to Idaho and Pocatello and are happy to work with our local community. Our team has lived in Idaho for most of their lives and takes pride in our state. Comfort Home Care knows how important senior care is to families, especially after providing it to our family members. Our company was founded on a perceived need and desire to help others in their golden years.
1
Short Term Care/Temporary Care
Recently had a fall, surgery, or temporary diagnosis? Short-term care can be given to those who still have high mobility and independence until they can regain some of their strength. Short-term care providers can come once a week or a few times to help with tasks like meal preparation or medication reminders.
2
Long Term Care
Some seniors will require long-term care throughout their lives. Bathing, feeding, household care, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments can all be provided by our specialists. During your consultation, we can discuss customized care that will adapt as the patient’s needs change.
3
Personalized Care Plans
No patient is the same, which is why every patient we work with at Comfort Home Care gets their own custom care plan. These plans will include background information, behaviors, diagnosis, and other important information that is critical to providing care. Meeting with family members and patients will help us build a comprehensive care plan that will keep seniors comfortable and happy.

Our Process
Comfort Home Care Process
1
Schedule a Consultation
Every family’s situation is different. A consultation allows us to understand yours – health needs, home setup, and personal goals – while giving you a clear picture of home our caregivers can support your loved one at home.
2
Create a Care Plan
Some may need daily support while others may need help with transportation. Whether it be a few hours a week or more, every plan is developed with the client and their family, ensuring that it reflects real needs and preferences. As needs change, we adjust. Care should evolve and we make sure that it does.
3
Putting the Plan in Place
We follow the care plan exactly as it is designed – because consistency matters. Our caregivers truly love what they do and are comfortable supporting a wide range of needs and personalities. Care is provided in the comfort of your loved one’s home, with the same thoughtful approach every visit. We’re here for as long as we’re needed – whether that means short-term support or ongoing care.
4
Peace of Mind
With Comfort Home Care in place, your loved one is safe, supported, and treated with respect. You can focus on your family, your work, and you own well-being without constant worry. That’s peace of mind.

frequently asked questions
You’ve got Questions, We’ve got Answers
Can You Provide Occasional Help?
Yes, Comfort Home Care customizes plans for the individual patient. Our caregivers can come once a week for a few hours, or can be scheduled when you feel you need it most. If you are just looking to get a break from full-time caregiving, check out our Respite Care service.
Who Can Benefit From In-Home Care?
Seniors who live alone, have limited mobility, or have medical conditions can benefit from in-home care. While our team does collaborate with assisted living facilities and other retirement communities, our in-home care services allow seniors to live in their home, with all of their personal belongings, and remain safe and cared for. Our in-home services are great for patients who still want to maintain a sense of independence, but don’t have a family member who can care for them full-time. In-home care can also be utilized for those with special needs or mental illness who can live mostly independent lives, but could benefit from sporadic help from a professional.
What Insurances Do You Accept?
We accept most major insurance plans, except for Medicaid. There are other additional payment options that can be discussed with our team if insurance is not an option. If you are curious about all forms of payment we accept, please reach out, and we would be happy to assist you.
Will My Loved One Always Have The Same Caregiver?
We try our best to pair patients with a caregiver they will connect with. Typically, once a few care sessions have been completed, the patient will work with that same caregiver or set of caregivers. There may be times when that employee is out of town or unavailable for a service, but most patients will work with a select few members of our team throughout their service. If you have specific personalities or backgrounds that you know your loved one will get along with, you can bring these up during the consultation.
Can You Provide Care Even If I Am Not Local?
If your loved one is located in surrounding Idaho cities like Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, or Pocatello, we can provide care to them even if they do not have family close by. When family members live across the country, it can be hard to ensure that your elderly loved one is taken care of, which is why we provide our services. With modern technology, our team can still communicate with you and provide updates on care if you are not living in Idaho. However, seniors must be living in Idaho to work with Comfort Home Care.
