Agency on Aging In Idaho
families are unable to pay for senior care or an assisted living facility, which is where the Area Agency on Aging comes in. Federal and state funding can be used to help cover the cost of long-term care, whether it is through an agency or family caregivers. Working with AAA, our team can help provide elder abuse prevention resources, congregate meal services, and other resources that support caregivers.
Agencies work to provide training for family caregivers, resources for families and caregiving agencies, and other elements that are crucial to maximizing independence and quality of life for those across the state of Idaho.
Coordinating Services For Older Adults
The Area Agency on Aging helps to provide services that seniors may not know existed or aren’t able to afford on their own. AAA can help provide life-saving care to lower-income families or seniors without family nearby to coordinate those services for them. Comfort Home Care partners with these agencies to provide care to seniors who may not know how to reach out to our business.
Finding Agencies Near You
We proudly partner with the Area Agency on Aging to offer care through the Homemaker and Respite Program. This federally and state-funded program provides up to 10 additional care hours per month at no cost to eligible clients. We’ll help guide families through the application process so they can access the full benefits of this program.
